The annual day to celebrate achievement, raise awareness against bias and take action for equality will be marked in Gunnedah with a host of activities across the month.
The theme for this year's International Women's Day is Choose to Challenge. Organisers say that from challenge comes change, and this can help work towards a gender-equal world.
