GRDC staff at the site will offer timely, relevant and farm-ready advice to get through yet another challenging dry season.
"For many in our northern NSW grains industry, this will be the second or third year without a crop and that takes a significant toll on people emotionally and financially," GRDC grower relations manager Susan McDonnell said.
"While we can't make it rain, we can be there to provide resources that support grower decision-making around topics such as farm business debt management and on-farm strategies for dry conditions."

Mrs McDonnell said GRDC would be investing in research, development and extension that could assist in mitigating the challenges of farming in an unpredictable climate.
"Our focus is on investing in [research, development and extension] to create enduring profitability for Australian grain growers," she said.
"We will be here supporting growers through these tough times, and when it does rain we will be here supporting them with ground-breaking research and development that has the potential to improve their bottom line."
On Wednesday, August 21, GRDC will also share the latest research results as part of the annual GRDC-NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) Grains Breakfast Update at AgQuip.
The breakfast gives growers, agronomists and other industry personnel the chance to hear about timely and relevant grains research before exploring AgQuip.
Presentations from DPI researchers will include crop diseases and the impact of the drought update, and the latest summer crop research and development.
This year, the breakfast will be at the GRDC site H30 followed by the update at the NSW Farmers shed.
"The annual GRDC-NSW DPI breakfast update has proved an incredible success and we are pleased to join with our research partners to once again bring this information to industry," Mrs McDonnell said.
Those interested in attending the breakfast should contact DPI's Liz Tydd on 6763 1454 for more information.
