SIREN DANCE AFTER MIDNIGHT
Shannon M Woodward has been painting for more than 20 years with her practice in a constant state of flux and evolution. The exhibition Siren Dance after Midnight is a collection of art work in varying mediums; exploring layers of contours, gestures and movements of distant recollections, summoning romanticised nuances of surrealism and cubit stylings. Shannon’s artworks are vibrant and filled with motion, allowing the audience to lose themselves. The exhibition continues until October 21.

TWILIGHT MUSICAL DIALOGUES REGIONAL TOUR
Sally Walker (flute), Gabriella Pusner (piano) and Gunnedah composer Keely Murphy are performing in The Twilight Musical Dialogues Regional Tour features the world premiere of new work by Keely Murphy. Murphy’s new work The Home Stretch is reminiscent of her childhood spent in Gunnedah, reflecting on the turbulence of her move away to the city, the joy in evoking fond past memories and the delight of anticipating future travels back to her hometown. BRIGHT STAR
Gunnedah Conservatorium will present John Bell and Simon Tedeschi in Bright Star, exploring the life, love and genius of two bright stars of the Romantic era – John Keats and Franz Schubert. Performing some of the most-beloved poems of Keats including Bright Star, Ode to a Nightingale, and La Belle Dame Sans Merci, and music by Schubert including Ave Maria, Winterreise and Sonata no.18 in G major (Fantasie), Bell and Tedeschi share their insights into the enduring power of these timeless works, and the lives of the artists who created them.
