In A grade, the Numbats beat the Wombats in the mixed while in the men's Railway Hotel defeated the Marlins and Winanga-Li claimed the women's title over Gunny Hotel.
All in all, GTA president Paul Brady said it was "a really good day".
"We had some really competitive games. The majority of the games came down to one or two tries," he said.
"There were no blowout scores. There was a good crowd and the weather was pretty handy."

The Gunnedah association has seen representative numbers surge in recent years and numbers at the local level have also been healthy.
"The mixed competition is certainly the most popular with 35 teams registered and five in the men's and six in the women's," Brady said.
"We could do with a couple more teams for men's and women's but overall we have a fantastic number of people registered.
"It's the mix of the registrations that we're most happy with. Approximately 50 per cent of registrations in our association are aged 18 and under. To me that says we've got a good product in terms of affordability and the environment we're playing in."
Brady thought the numbers could increase again for the next summer season.
"Even though 50 per cent are under 18, I don't think we've really tapped into that demographic of our town just yet," he said.
"We have an opportunity to form working relationships with junior rugby league, rugby union, soccer. They don't clash too much because we're in summer and they're in winter."
