Carroll Public School has fresh faces in the classrooms.
Sally Harris and Tiffany Webster started working at the small school at the start of the new term. Both women have previously taught within the area.
Ms Harris is teaching Kindergarten to Year 2 and has moved to Gunnedah from Quirindi.
“This is my first full-time position,” she said.
Ms Harris has taught at Willow Tree, Wallabadah, Taree and Cessnock and is a familiar face for the Carroll students, having taught casually at the school in terms three and four last year.
“I’m loving it here,” she said.
“I’ve got a fantastic class. They’re so well behaved and they’re so eager to learn.”
Tiffany Webster grew up in Tamworth and is commuting to Carroll. She has been teaching casually in the Tamworth for five years and taught at Currabubula Public School last year.
“I love the small community,” she said.
“Everyone’s like family here.”
