GS Kidd Memorial School reunites with well-loved teacher

There probably isn’t a student in the Gunnedah shire who doesn’t know Paul Williams.

Over the past five years, the tall American has taught at Carinya Christian School, Mullaley Public School, Boggabri Public School, Gunnedah South Public School, St Mary’s College, Tambar Springs Public School, Gunnedah Public School, St Xavier’s Primary School, GS Kidd Memorial School and TAFE.

Mr Williams has taught for 21 years and has been a permanent resident of Australia for more three years.

This year, Mr Williams is back in the classroom at GS Kidd Memorial School.

“It’s beautiful,” he said.

“I’m happy to be back. It’s a great school with great staff and a great principal.

“It’s fun working with the kids and the kids are very happy to have me back. I have to find time to grab my lunch and eat because they want me out there [in the playground] with them.”
