Local women are urged to apply for the junior showgirl category (15-18 years of age), and the senior showgirl category (18-25 years of age) by April 1.
Seven women entered the competition last year but Ms Breed said she would "love to get as many involved as possible". So far there are two senior entries.

Ms Breed was a rural ambassador in Queensland and got involved in the showgirl competition when she moved to Gunnedah three years ago.
"It really does provide a platform for young ladies to build on the skills they've already got, which can be quite helpful not only for life but also job interviews in the future," Ms Breed said.
The entrants will undergo an interview with a panel of judges on April 4 and will be judged on their general knowledge, character, speaking ability and knowledge of rural issues.
The contestants will also attend the show's art and photography exhibition opening night where the winners will be announced, and get involved in the festivities from April 17-19.
Gunnedah's 2019 Showgirl, Georgia Foley, said she was "very honoured" to be chosen by judges last year and would "recommend the experience".
