Many families are taking advantage of the free entry for kids offer Gunnedah Shire Council has provided for the entire month of January at the pool, and kids are loving it too.
The NVI has visited the pool numerous times these holidays and kids of all ages have been practicing their diving and flips off the dive board, lazing about in the 50m pool, and having a ball in the kid's zone.

The council's school holiday program is also still running till Friday, with many more activities on offer.
A small group of kids visited the Gunnedah library on Wednesday afternoon for an Australian animals themed crafty creations session.
Local artist Jade Punch ran the session, teaching the kids how to draw possums based off the cuddly creatures in Possum Magic by Mem Fox.
The kids then enjoyed a scavenger hunt around the library.
Other activities on offer until Friday include yoga, boogie bounce, a musical theatre workshop, and book writing.
