Gunnedah Shire Council has released its 2020 Australia Day program, and it kicks off on Wednesday night at the Gunnedah Golf Club.
The golf club is hosting Aussie trivia for groups of six people from 7pm, with prizes to be won.
From here, there'll be Australian challenges like Vegemite and pie eating at the Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club on Friday night, followed by the Australia Day awards dinner at the Gunnedah Town Hall on Saturday night.

This ceremony will see local community members and groups take out awards they were nominated for by fellow locals. It will also see the 2020 Australia Day ambassador Doug Hawkins share his story.
Tickets for the awards dinner can be purchased at the Civic website, at the council building, or the visitor's centre.
Tickets include a three-course meal provided by local caterers The Verdict, for just $30 per person.
Then, Australia Day officially kicks off bright and early with the junior, women's and men's triathlon at the pool at 6am.
Free entry will also be on offer for everyone at the Gunnedah pool from 9.30am. Activities here will include tug-o-war, three-legged races, and sack races.
The annual citizenship ceremony under the gums will be held at the Dorothea Mackellar Statue at 10am, but if the weather is wet it'll be moved to the Gunnedah Band Hall.
AussieFest is back at the Gunnedah Rugby Club for 2020, with the festival to begin with the women's Indigenous VS Rest touch competition at 9.30am. The men's competition will be held at 10.05am.
There will also be dog sprints, the dash for cash, damper and scone cook off, and the beer mile.
