Gunnedah will go into the match having thumped Kootingal (5-0), North Companions (6-2) and Hillvue (6-2) in their past three matches.
They have posted four wins, a draw and a loss - with only South Lightning compiling a better record.
Those two sides clash the following round.
This weekend, last-placed Quirindi will be looking for their second win of the season.
Training numbers have been really good and, yeah, we're just really keen to get back out there.

Cygan said: "I'd guess we'd be favourite to beat them [Quirindi] - they haven't started that good. And, I guess, this week's gonna set us up for a big challenge against Souths next week - it will be a top-of-the-table in both grades."
In other matches this round, Moore Creek host Northies and Souths travel to Kooty.
