Oxley Vale Attunga have won the annual Phyllis Grant Memorial six-a-side tournament in Gunnedah.
OVA and Gunnedah United both finished on five wins and a draw, but the former narrowly had a better for-and-against percentage on Sunday.
Eight teams took part in the tournament including Hillvue, Narrabri and Gunnedah FC. Tournament co-organiser Richard Grant, Phyllis Grant's son, said: "We'd obviously love to get more teams.
"North Companions were [the trophy] holders ... but they couldn't rustle up a team this year, which was a real shame because they've always been great supporters [of the event]."
Phyllis Grant passed away several years ago. Her son said soccer was her "great passion in life".
