An Evening With Gabi Hollows will be held at The Crossing Theatre on March 8 at 5pm, and entry is free.
The theme for the 2019 international day in celebration and support of women is Balance for Better.
Gabi Hollows AO is the founding director of the Fred Hollows Foundation, which continues the work of her late husband in the prevention of blindness in people across the world.

Through her work with the foundation, she has been awarded an Advance Australia Award for community service, made a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International and given a Centenary Medal by the federal government.
In 2013, Ms Hollows became an Officer of the Order of Australia.
The honour was "for distinguished service to public health as an advocate for the eradication of blindness, particularly for Indigenous Australians and people in the developing world".
