Strike Force Munderrah - a six-month secret operation by Oxley detectives - unfolded with a police raid and six arrests on Thursday.
Officers raided a Baker Street home as part of the investigation into the alleged supply of drugs and firearms in the Gunnedah area. A stolen motorbike, property alleged to be the proceeds of crime, a small quantity of what police allege is ice and drug paraphernalia was seized.
Oxley Detective Acting Inspector Jason Darcy said a man and a woman were in police custody on Thursday night "assisting with inquiries", while the others had been charged.
The other Gunnedah locals were arrested for their alleged involvement in a criminal syndicate involved in the supply of prohibited drugs in the Gunnedah area.

"The other Gunnedah locals were arrested for their alleged involvement in a criminal syndicate involved in the supply of prohibited drugs in the Gunnedah area," he said.
"They are facing charges of drug supply or participating in a criminal group.

"This was a massive operation by detectives from Gunnedah, Narrabri and rural crime officers.
"It has been protracted but very professionally run, culminating in these arrests."
Late on Thursday afternoon, Peter Barnes appeared in Tamworth Local Court on six charges of supplying a prohibited drug and participating in a criminal group.
He lodged a bid for bail which was granted in court by magistrate Julie Soars.
As part of his bail, Barnes has to report to Gunnedah police everyday; not contact any co-accused; not take drugs or alcohol; post $1,000 in surety; and is prohibited from leaving the Gunnedah township.
