Plains Pipes and Drums and Highland Dancers have been using their skills to raise funds for Rural Outreach Counselling.
The group performed during on the Wednesday night during AgQ-Quip and raised more than $2000 for the organisation.
Rural Outreach Counselling aims to reduce suicide, the impact of depression and anxiety in rural families and communities throughout regional Australia.
Piper Heather Martin said it was “a very appropriate cause during these drought times”.
“We thank all contributors to the fund,” she said.
The group has also recently performed at the Presbyterian Church’s flower show, the Gunnedah Dance Eisteddfod, and the Celtic Dog Show.
