A teddy bear’s picnic at Wolseley Park for National Child Protection Week brought out lots of kids and their favourite cuddly friends – including littlies from Carinya Christian School and Gunnedah Public School.
The annual event is hosted by Gunnedah Family Support – Home Base in recognition of National Child Protection Week.
A number of community groups were present including HealthWise, Gunnedah Family Support, Family Referral Service and Paint the Town REaD.
Children from pre-schools, daycare centres and schools took turns at activity stations, which had balloons, play dough, craft, storytelling and games.
