Scheduled from 7am to 2pm on Saturday, March 20 at Wolseley Park, there is currently expected to be between 35 to 40 stalls, as well as a significant amount of entertainment.
Two Rivers Arts Council market coordinator Kyle Smith is hoping for a greater diversity of food this year, and believes he is on track to achieve that goal.
"The stalls we currently have is the kind of stuff that we normally have at the moment, but we are going to be wanting a wider array of food than normal but I think we're fairly well on target for that," he said.
"I don't think there's anything in particular we're needing to try and find now."
As per usual there will be plenty of fun for the kids as well, with balloon twisting and face paining among their choices.
GSC is in charge of the entertainment, and Cultural Precinct team leader Lauren Mackley has revealed that Huckleberry and the Conadilly St. Band, which has three members from Gunnedah, will be making the trip from Newcastle to perform.
Brazilian and Cuban dancers will also be in attendance on the day to give the public some further entertainment.
A stall showcasing some of Gunnedah's newest international residents and their respective cultures will also be a drawcard this year.
Performances will be funded by the NSW Government's The Festival of Place - Summer Fund.
The markets were cancelled last year due to COVID-19 restrictions, however in 2019 it attracted approximately 800 people, which speaks volumes about its popularity.
There is still room for more stalls, and anybody interested - whether they be a vendor, community, arts or sporting group - are encourage to contact Mr Smith on 0439 609 502.
Plans are also ticking along for the rest of Harmony Week, with GSC already locking in international tourism blogger Amanda Woods to deliver a presentation at the library on March 22.
