Locals should allow extra time in case of delays with road works happening on the Oxley Highway and South Street roundabout on Thursday night.

This will allow for minor adjustments to be made to kerbs on the approaches to the intersection.
Work will take place between 6pm and 11pm on Thursday, December 17, weather permitting.
The work involves modification of the concrete kerbs to allow heavy vehicles to easily navigate the left hand turn into Warrabungle Street.
Oxley Highway and South Street will be under stop-and-go traffic arrangements and the work will be undertaken at night to reduce the impacts on motorists, who may experience delays of up to five minutes while the adjustments are made.

Work will recommence from 4am Friday to set up for a concrete pour at 8am with completion expected by around 1pm, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and to follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
