Forestry Corporation installed CCTV cameras within the forest to capture those doing the wrong thing and subsequent action could be taken.
Since the NVI first spoke with Forestry Corporation's district manager, Conan Rossler, in August, numerous penalty infringement notices (PINs) have been issued by police.

Mr Rossler said the majority of people had been fined for stealing firewood, which had been one of Black Jack Forest's biggest problems.
"I think it's settled down which is really good," he said.
Forestry Corporation first started the crack down on anti-social behaviour after many neighbours reported burnt out cars, stolen firewood, and lots of rubbish dumping.
But since August, he hasn't had any complaints from the public.
"I was receiving fairly regular complaints before the cameras and I have not had a single phone call after we started taking action so I strongly suspect it's a good outcome out there," Mr Rossler told the NVI.
"People are very quick to complain but I haven't heard a squeak so that's really positive."
The next plan of action is to erect a new sign for those visiting to read as they come onto the forest's grounds. It will state everything that is and isn't permissible within the grounds.
This hasn't been put up yet, but Mr Rossler is hoping it will be erected before Christmas.
"It's sitting in my shed at Baradine so it's not far away from going up," he said.
Overall, the district manager was happy with how things were going in the small local forest.
"We'll never stop all anti-social behaviour out there but I think the message is out in the public space," he said.
Black Jack Forest is located south of Gunnedah on Black Jack Forest Road, off Wandobah Road.
