Event organiser Tracie Finlay is already busy preparing, but is keeping her lips sealed as to the exact workings of the event.
She announced on Wednesday that Gunnedah Chamber of Commerce had given the green light to run it again this year, but on a virtual stage due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The event will focus heavily on businesses in the district and Ms Finlay said that the raffle would be "the biggest Gunnedah has ever seen".

However, she is adamant that the event isn't just about online shopping, it's about "bringing the Christmas spirit to the community online".
"We can't gather together because of COVID, but we can keep the spirit of Christmas alive with a nod to keeping local shopping happening," she told the NVI.
"Shop local is a big thing we're going to concentrate on.
"AgQuip is a huge loss but we thought maybe if we can do something to bring spirit to our community, that's what we'll do."
Ms Finlay said some prizes had already been confirmed for the upcoming raffle, but encouraged anyone who wanted to get involved with the event to give her a buzz.
"Let's do this for each other and show our younger community that in times of adversity we, as a small country town, can rise above and come together as one," she said.
