McLean Care Mackellar chief executive Sue Thomson said the new measures for the Queensland facilities had been put in place with the support of residents, families and the local community.
"We are witnessing the catastrophic outcomes for older people in Victoria and our residents, clients and our communities deserve nothing less than everything we can possibly do to protect them," Ms Thomson said.
"We will not hesitate to mirror this action, in consultation with residents and families across our NSW facilities in Inverell, Guyra and Gunnedah if there are any COVID-19 cases in or close to our local communities."
Ms Thomson thanked everyone for their "continued cooperation, respect and understanding of the changes and restrictions we have all experienced".
"We are living in a totally different world and the way we live our lives is also different. I am extremely proud of our people and their co-operation as they prioritise the care of our residents and clients above all else," she said.
"McLean Care continues to have no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in any of our facilities throughout NSW and Queensland due to the careful management and strict adherence of our screening procedures of staff and visitors.
"This pandemic is far from over and the recent outbreaks in Victoria and parts of NSW and QLD confirm the importance of our vigilance and unwavering stance in keeping our residence, clients, staff and communities safe."
