Gunnedah coach Bob Price hopes the improvement his side showed in their 14-12 loss to South West Robins last round will continue on Saturday.

"We won't change too much from last weekend," he said.
"I think the girls are pretty keen," he added. "Ah look, it's [winning] not everything. But it's always good to get a win under your belt."

"The first game, we were sort of down on numbers. We turned up with 10 players," he said.
"So fatigue probably got the better of us there, in the back end of the second half in that first game."
Price said his players enjoyed the longer-game format this season, but it was an adjustment for them.
"We didn't start as strong as we did in the last nines season," he said.
"But in saying that ... the games are a little longer this season."
