More than $20,000 was raised from the group's 'Touch of Christmas' event held in June through ticket sales, mega raffle, special needs roses, and donations.
Group president Maryellen Scanlon said the money would be used for "activities, resources, and school spaces to support and enhance the educational journeys of so many wonderful, deserving students".
"It gives the committee much joy to be able to support so many students and to have been able to have such a large impact on their community," Mrs Scanlon said.
"The whole committee is very grateful to every community member who supported our event and our fundraising efforts for 2019. Thank you for supporting Friends of Children and in turn providing so much to our local schools and students."
