The Royal Hotel in Spring Ridge had local entertainment in the evening, with some singing and dancing to boot.
“We had singing duo Jess and Bear for the afternoon and night,” licensee Robyn Archer said.
“We also had a little pool for kids to play in because it was so hot.”
Patrons had the need for speed at the Mullaley Post Office Hotel and the Grand Elixxa, with yabbie and pig racing, complete with obstacles and a little track.
Half of the proceeds for the pig races at the Grand Elixxa will be donated to the McGrath Foundation in aid of breast cancer research.
