The land raft and craft race was won by the Red Devils who sprinted the field in an inflatable craft.
Gunnedah motorcyclists turned out at the rugby park with sparkling rides in honour of Gunnedah’s Australia Day ambassador Warwick Nowland, two-time world superbike champion.
A highlight of the events was the touch football competition, with Indigenous and non-Indigenous teams vying for the Wayne Griffiths Cup and the Donna Smith-Hickey Cup.
The men’s Indigenous side took out the Wayne Griffiths Cup, 7-5, and the women’s non-Indigenous side took out the Donna Smith-Hickey Cup, 3-2.
This year, the Indigenous sides were captained by Emma Costello and Hayden Smith, and the non-Indigenous sides were captained by Lauren McCoy and Harley Cheetham.
