“Our drought is quickly becoming worse and it’s really important that we come together as a community,” Gunnedah Ministers Fraternal president Scott Dunlop said.
“As churches and groups of leaders in the community, we want to show spiritual leadership and gather the community to come and pray for rain as well as show support to our farming community and businesses that depend on the land.
“Lots of things happen in life that remind us that we’re not in control and drought is one of those things and it’s great to gather together to pray to the one who is in control and ask for his mercy at this time.
“In times of difficulty, lots of people pray who mightn't necessarily at other times, and so we warmly invite all in our community to attend in this difficult time.”
