The hall will play host to a free breakfast event featuring guest appearances from poet Murray Hartin and a live broadcast from 2GB radio personality Alan Jones.
Event co-ordinator, Juliana McArthur, said the event was designed to give farmers a well earned break.
“Dealing with this drought day-in-day-out can really become tough to deal with,” Mrs McArthur said.
“So this event is really a good chance for local farming families to have a break, have something to look forward to and give them a chance to do put the drought out of their mind for a little while.”
Mrs McArthur said there would be a great deal of support on hand throughout the event.
“I am a local farmer and I know how tough things are right now,” she said.
“These kinds of events are so important in times like these because they give people the chance to reach out and discover what help is available.
“So, on the day we will have representatives from the Rural Resilience Program, Rural Financial Counselling Service and Local Land Services there to help in any way they can.”

The McArthur Legal Services team member said the event was shaping up to be a “terrific day”.
“It promises to be a great event,” Mrs McArthur said.
“Woolworths will be supplying the breakfast and the Tambar Springs CWA branch will be supplying the morning tea, which is great.
“Having Murray Hartin along is also very exciting as I am sure he will help lift everyone’s spirits and Alan Jones broadcasting his show from the event is an incredible thing to happen.
“Once he was told it was happening, he was determined to help out.”
The breakfast will run from 6am to 10am. To RSVP contact Juliana McArthur on 6742 0422 or Keli McDonald on 6742 6831.
