It’s that time of the week when The Namoi Valley Independent takes the community back-in-time for Flashback Friday.
This week we are taking a look back at some of the highlights from the first half of 2002.
Although it’s been 16 years, the fun and excitement feel like they happened yesterday.
Among the highlights of the first six months of 2002 were local sports such as soccer, rugby and cricket.
As well the sporting field, locals were also out-and-about doing a variety of fun activities such as school social events, meeting our local firefighters and taking in the annual show.
