The five-day competition in the Gunnedah Town Hall involves schools, community groups and individuals.
So far there has been plenty of fun, colour and talent on show, with adjudicator Luke Byrne praising the enthusiasm of the entrants.
On Wednesday, the music section kicked off with the Mature Aged Eisteddfod at Mackellar Care Services, followed by an instrumental section in the afternoon.
The instrumental section featured guitar solos, piano, and instrumental solos and ballads for both primary and secondary students.
"It’s fantastic to see such a great range presented here today,” Mr Byrne said on Wednesday.
The adjudicator reminded the entrants not to “underestimate how important it is that you begin and end clearly”.
On Thursday, Mr Byrne was treated to choirs from multiple schools, musical entertainment and vocal solos and duets.
“There was so much imagination and really great characterisation,” he said following the primary music entertainment section on Thursday.
