Lachie Adamson has set himself a big goal: to get his handicap down to 20 by the year’s end.
The 13-year-old’s handicap has been bouncing around the 30 mark lately and while it’s a big ask, Lachie thinks he can get there.
The one component Lachie will be focusing extra hard on is his driving.
Lachie competed at the JNJG NSW All School Junior Championship in Forster on May 8 and 9 and said his driving could have been a bit better at the tournament.

However, the St Mary’s College student’s iron shots were a highlight of his two rounds at the championship for Year 7, 8 and 9 students.
Lachie didn’t come home with the win but was eager to knuckle down and have another crack next year.
The youngster’s been playing for over three years and got into golf through his uncle Jason Perrett.
“He’s a great golfer,” Lachie said of his uncle.
Despite being so young, Lachie is already getting into the coaching side of golf. He helps coach juniors through his work at the Gunnedah Golf and Sport Store.
