Tamworth MP visited the site on Tuesday and told The Namoi Valley Independent he was pleased with progress of the project.
“This is fantastic progress,” Mr Anderson said.
“The crew here have told me they are looking for a mid-May completion to this half of the project before they move onto the next half.
“This project is so important for Gunnedah, not just from a community perspective but from a police and operations aspect as well.”

“One thing we pushed right at very start of the planning for this project was to have as many Gunnedah tradesmen, materials and business involved as possible,” he said.
“To hear that this is the case is heart warming and what this is all about.”
