The representative side got one game in on Saturday in Ballina before rain hit and washed out the two matches scheduled for Sunday.
Bolters skipper Tom Groth said it was disappointing to play just the one game.
"I think that's pretty much it for us unless they reschedule the other two games," Groth said.
"I think Country Cricket NSW will have a meeting this week and see if they can rescheduled it or cancel it.
"It's one of those seasons. There's a lot of rain around and not much we can do about it."
In the sole game Northern Inland played, against Coffs Coast Chargers, the Bolters went down by two wickets.
The reason for the loss was simple, Groth said: "We just didn't play that well to be honest.
"We lost three early wickets and we were chasing our tail after that. In the end we did well to get to 103 but it obviously wasn't enough."
A number of Bolters' batsmen were able to get starts but none were able to put on a big score.
Simon Norvill (14), Adam McGuirk (14), Mitchell Swain (10), Bryan Warren (19) and Hayden Baker (13*) all chipped in to get the Bolters to 9-103 after their 20 overs.
Then with ball in hand, Warren backed up his batting effort with 2-14 from his four overs.
The opening bowler got Northern Inland off to a good start while Baker (2-25) and Troy Sands (2-17) also took handy wickets.
Groth said the bowling unit did "a great job".
"Particularly Bryan Warren," Groth said.
"He got us in the game and I brought him back for a second spell and got us a second wicket. He was easily our best bowler."
Groth would have loved to have played all three matches especially to see the younger contingent in action.
"They'll be better for the run. It's a good experience for the younger guys to play at that level... It's tough to just get the one game. It'd be nice if they got a few more," Groth said.
