The weigh-ins for the Tim Tszyu v Takeshi Inoue card - on which Ryan v Nath Nwachukwu is the co-main event - were held on Tuesday.
Ryan (19-9-0) weighed in at 69.54 kilograms while his opponent Nwachukwu (7-1-2) came in at 69.58 kilograms.
Speaking to Main Event's Ben Damon via a translator after the weigh-in, the Japanese boxer gave his prediction for the fight.
"I believe that I will win by knockout," he said.
In response, Ryan said: "He's got his plans, I've got my plan - it's going to be a cracking fight. He's a good fighter," Ryan said.
Ryan has scored three wins on the trot leading into Wednesday's bout.
Two of those wins came against Troy O'Meley and one was against Koen Mazoudier.
This fight against Nwachukwu will also be the third in a row on a Tim Tszyu card. It was something Ryan was grateful for.
