A 16-year-old girl pleaded guilty in a court on Thursday to driving offences.
The court heard that on September 24, the girl was picked up by two males, aged 12 and 16, in a 2005 Holden Commodore wagon about midnight.
The 16-year-old boy held a learner permit.
The 16-year-old girl and the 12-year-old boy did not have a licence.
The court heard the trio took it in turns driving the vehicle and filming the illegal driving.
The vehicle travelled from Port Fairy and took backroads between Framlingham and Wangoom, reaching speeds of up to 170 km/h, which was captured on video.
The court heard the trio returned to Warrnambool and drove through fast food outlet Mcdonalds before the girl drove them to the breakwater.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The girl drove over a speed bump at 70km/h on Pertobe Road, momentarily losing control of the car and causing a concerned onlooker to make an anonymous report to 000.
The accused males drove the girl home before parking the vehicle on Hoddle Street as it had overheated due to the erratic driving.
One of the boys went to a nearby house while the other stayed in the car, where he fell asleep.
Police attended the scene and both boys were transported to Warrnambool police station for their parents and guardians to be contacted.
The girl was arrested on October 7 and she made full admissions to the illegal driving.
A magistrate said he was troubled by the offending.
"Getting behind the wheel and driving like this is just madness," he said.
The magistrate deferred sentencing until February 3.
