"This is a fantastic opportunity to get your vaccination without having to make an appointment," Cr Hawkins said.
Earlier this week statistics posted by the NSW Government indicated of the almost 6,400 people in the Liverpool Plains Shire Council, 61.6 per cent had received their first vaccination.
However, only 28 per cent had received the second vaccination shot.
"Nothing is more important to me than the safety of our community," Cr Hawkins said.
"We've got volunteers ready to go to assist the Royal Flying Doctor Service to administer the vaccinations and I want to thank the volunteers for their support and efforts," Cr Hawkins said.
The RFDS pop-up vaccination clinic has now been relocated to David Taylor Oval on Saturday 18 September, to allow more room.
Quirindi residents are also able to access a free Pfizer vaccination on Sunday 19 September at the Quirindi High School Auditorium.
Both clinics will run from 10.30am to 3.30pm each day.
"There are no appointments will be necessary, just bring some ID, your Medicare card, a hat and some water," he said.
