NSW Health confirmed the first visit was during the early stages of the infection, but four close contacts have been identified as a result of the second visit.
The woman travelled from Parkes and stayed at a rural property over the weekend, and also travelled to the region the week before, but it's understood her movements were limited.
So far, the only exposure site that has been listed is the Puma Service Station in Moree on Tuesday, August 24 from 2.20pm to 2.25pm.
Anybody who visited the petrol station during this time is considered a casual contact and must get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
"We've subsequently learnt that they actually visited Moree on two occasions, and four individuals have been exposed who we consider as close contacts as a result of the second visit," Hunter New England Health's Dr David Durrheim said.
"Those folks are working closely with public health to make sure that they isolate safely and don't pose any risk to the Moree community."

Tamworth and Gunnedah communities are also on high alert after sewage tests revealed fragments of COVID-19.
For Tamworth, it's the third consecutive positive test, which has led health officials to believe there is somebody in the local community who has the virus.
"We've had a series of positives in Tamworth and we really need to assume that there's someone in the Tamworth community who is infected with COVID," Dr Durrheim said.
"So please don't ignore any COVID like symptoms - a sore throat, shortness of breath, a runny nose, a cough, a fever, change of taste or smell - please get tested immediately."
Tamworth Regional Council said an additional sewage test was taken on Wednesday, and there is no indication whether the viral load in the sewage had increased or declined.
"We know very little other than that it was a positive test. There's no logical explanation for Monday's test to be positive other than there is potentially somebody out there in the community that has been infected," Tamworth mayor Col Murray said.
