The Bulldogs - who suffered their first loss of the season last round - shut out the visitors in all four grades.

Gunnedah started their round four Ladies Day with a 34-0 win in league tag, then continued with a 22-20 victory in under-18s and a 62-16 reserve-grade triumph.

In first grade, the home side crossed for nine tries.

Fullback Dylan Lake, winger Cain Eather, centre Aaron Donnelly and hooker Liam Ireland all crossed for two tries apiece.

Gunnedah prop Lincon Smith said: "It was a pretty tough game ... they came back and kept themselves in it."

He thought fellow Bulldog forward Aiden Davis had a big game.

"He killed it," Smith said of the No 13.

Werris Creek co-coach Cody Tickle said his side's task was always going to be tough after losing players to injury and work commitments.

"We were down on troops and we started terrible," Tickle said.

"We did recover, though, and the boys fought hard all day and kept ourselves in the game. Marcus Doran was great too, played big minutes for us.

"Isaah (Millgate) was massive for us too. He and Harlee (Millgate) created opportunities for us all game.

"Dylan Porter was great too."
