Now, they are welcoming a new general manager to the community in Sarah Wade, who was previously based in Inverell.
As the McLean Care Mackellar GM, Ms Wade will oversee the future direction of aged care services in Gunnedah, as well as the operational management of the organisation's Gunnedah residential aged care facility.
"I'm excited to be joining the Gunnedah community, having lived in Inverell for years," she said.
"Of course, it comes with a mix of nervous and happy energy.
"Moving to a new town, getting used to new schools, the Gunnedah vibe and of course new coffee haunts.
"Both my children are looking forward to the new adventures and memories we will make here."
Ms Wade began her employment with McLean Care in 2005 and has held various nursing and supervisory roles within the organisation.

She has previously held the position of general manager of the NSW and QLD residential services teams.
McLean Care CEO Sue Thomson said she was excited for a new chapter in leadership.
"Sarah's professionalism and proficiency within her prior roles and experiences and as a general manager of residential services will provide Mackellar Residential Care with a purposeful strategic direction and leadership," she said.
