The boom Boggabri second-rower and Albion No 3 and his long-time partner, Courtney Grosser, are aglow at the imminent arrival of their first child.
They are in the midst of a wonderful chapter in their shared experience; one that began when they started dating at Gunnedah High.

"It's sort of getting a bit nerve-racking now, but I'm very excited," Lennox said of having a child.
The couple met when they attended Gunnedah South Public School. But then Lennox relocated to Port Stephens.
He returned to Gunnedah when he was 13. And he and Grosser - who plays league tag for the Roos - have been an item since midway through high school.
On being a dad at 20, the reigning Group 4 rookie of the year and Boggabri player of the year said: "I just think being so young as a parent you get to spend that little bit more time with them.
"And when they're at the age when they can play sport, you can still play as well ... I'd love to have a game of football with him when he grows up."
The pump technician's idealistic home life is supplemented richly by his sporting endeavours.
At Albion, the keeper is enjoying the best season of his career - scoring 111 runs in five innings at an average of 22 and with a highest score of 46.
His improved form is the result of a desire to continually elevate his game, after he took up the sport in his mid-teens.
Ahead of Albion's clash against Court House at Kitchener Park on Saturday, he said: "I usually play second grade, and I've been up in first grade [this season] scoring a few runs.
"I'd like a few more, but it's been a lot better year compared to other years."
Boggabri have started preseason training. And when the 2021 season commences, Lennox will take the field as one of Group 4's most exciting commodities.
