Nick Baird will be starting at Sacred Heart Primary in Boggabri, and Bernadette (Bern) Feldman will take on the position at St Mary's College Gunnedah.
Mr Baird is currently the principal at Holy Family Parish School in Parkes, and prior to this, held the position of principal at St Mary's Parish School in Hay.
He is familiar with the Armidale Diocese having worked at Holy Trinity School, Inverell, for 11 years, holding a variety of positions including Numeracy Project Lead Teacher, REC and assistant principal.
He has a Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Arts (Primary) with Honours (University of Newcastle), a Graduate Certificate in Theology (University of Newcastle), Certificate of Religious Education (Broken Bay Institute) and is currently completing a Masters of Leadership and Management in Education through the University of Newcastle.

Mr Baird is a person of strong faith who is an active member of the Holy Family Parish in Parkes, and is committed to the creation of a Catholic school environment that is welcoming, inclusive and Christ-centred in its mission and focuses on strong relationships within the community and between school and parish.
He is moving to Gunnedah with his wife Kath, and daughters Charlotte and Georgia.
Meanwhile, Mrs Feldman is currently the deputy principal at St Mary's College in Maryborough, QLD. She also held the position of assistant principal in religious education.
She held the position of acting principal at St Patrick's College, Gympie, for terms two and three of this year. Prior to this, she held a number of positions at Xavier Catholic College, Hervey Bay including assistant principal (curriculum), Acting Academic Coordinator - Senior Schooling Studies and Pastoral Coordinator - Ignatian Spirituality.
She has a Diploma of Education from Queensland University of Technology and a Master of Education (Leadership) from Australian Catholic University. Bern has also completed a Certificate IV Christian Ministry and Theology from Institute of Faith Education (Brisbane Archdiocese).
Mrs Feldman is a person of strong faith who is looking forward to becoming an active member of the St Joseph's Parish in Gunnedah. She will also be working collaboratively with the principal of St Xavier's Primary School, Jen Honner, to enhance the continuity of the K-12 learning community.
She is replacing current principal Max Quirk, who will retire at the end of this year, and is moving to town with her husband David.
