Camilla Hoddle was nominated by the Carroll Public School community for the Public School Parent of the Year award as part of the 2020 NSW Minister's and Secretary's Awards for Excellence.
She is one of 10 other parents in the state to have been named a recipient.
Mum to Bis, Pom, and Arabella, Ms Hoddle is heavily involved in school activities, and was one of the key organisers of the school's sesquicentenary celebrations last year.

She said it was a "massive honour" to have been selected, but did not take all of the credit.
"It was really special seeing the whole community come together so of course it is a huge honour to be recognised but the truth is it was a whole community effort and I feel lucky to be a part of it," Ms Hoddle said.
"I just hope that all the other parents involved know it's for all of us because I couldn't have done it alone, I couldn't have run all the events."
Ms Hoddle joked that in terms of household awards, her husband's highly-commended chocolate cake in the men's section at the show was highest, but she would be able to "show this off" now.
"Even when my children have grown up, I'll still be reminding them I won this," she said.
The NSW Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning, Sarah Mitchell, said the awards affirmed the high standards, dedication and community connections in the public education system.
"These awards highlight the tremendous contribution that students, teachers, support staff, principals and the school community make to public education in NSW as we strive for learning and teaching excellence," Ms Mitchell said.
Other award categories included Minister's Award for Excellence in Student Achievement, Minister's Award for Excellence in Teaching, Secretary's Award for Excellent Service, Secretary's Award for an Outstanding School Initiative, and Secretary's School Achievement Award.
