It is the third housefire the local Fire and Rescue NSW crew have responded to in less than a month.
Crews from both Gunnedah and Boggabri got the call at 5.35am and responded quickly, finding the High Street house well alight.
The crews worked really hard to contain it, acting really quickly in an offensive manner to control the blaze.

Thankfully, noone was at home at the time.
Despite classing the operation as a save, Fire and Rescue Station 314 Gunnedah captain David Welch said there was a great deal of smoke and fire damage to the front of the home.
"The crews worked really hard to contain it, acting really quickly in an offensive manner to control the blaze," he said.
