Staff and the little ones at Mary Ranken Child Care Centre have been saving their money to donate to worthy causes this week, and Gunnedah Public School student Dolcy Knight worked hard for a special award.

Staff and children at the child care centre got dressed up and donated money for Asthma Awareness Week and muscular dystrophy this week.
Two different fundraisers meant two different costumes - with pyjamas worn for the muscular dystrophy fundraiser and superhero costumes for Asthma Awareness Week.

Meanwhile, at Gunnedah Public School, Dolcy Knight was congratulated for her hard work and was presented with a silver award.
Students in years 3-6 also got to play on their brand new play equipment, which they were very excited about.
