The loss of the Gunnedah means the A grade competition will be reduced to three teams in 2020.
Gunnedah president Jody Revell said it was a shame the club had to miss the season.
"It's essentially due to coronavirus. A few people wanted to give it a miss and spend time with their family," he said.

Along with three teams in A grade, five teams were nominated for the B grade baseball competition.
TBI president Craig Lee said those team numbers were very unlikely to change at this late stage.
He said the committee would spend the next couple of days nutting out a draw.
"We're just trying to nail down draws this week," he said.
"We only have three A grade teams and five B grade teams. That creates a problem with a bye so over the next week we'll be working it out.
"We'll look at things like playing double headers or whether the fifth B grade team possibly comes into A grade. It all has to be discussed."
Something that excited Lee about the 2020 season was the potential unearthing of some new baseball talent.
"We've got a lot of cricketers crossing over this year. It'll be good to see how they go," he said.
Meanwhile, Gunnedah was gunning to return to the fold in 2021.
"We're looking to do that. Hopefully we can keep most of our players and get a team," Revell said of the 2021 season.
