The Tamworth group made the announcement via social media on Sunday night "after careful consideration of the current public health concerns around Coronavirus (Covid-19)".
"We sincerely apologise and fully appreciate the disappointment and inconvenience this decision may cause. This was a very difficult decision to make, but the health and well-being of every single person involved in this event is our absolute priority," the group wrote.
"We hope to reschedule the Lymphoedema Information Day pending availability of speakers and venue to a later date and will keep you informed. Registration fees will carry over to the rescheduled date ... Thank you for your understanding and continued support in these unprecedented times, and we hope to welcome you at the rescheduled day."
