Challenge Community Services supervisor Chris Shepherdson said "you've only got to look at their faces to see how much they enjoy it".
"It's an event where they see their friends that they haven't seen for 12 months [and] they really get a lot out of interacting with everyone and participating in events," Mr Shepherdson said.
Participants and other attendees enjoyed a delicious barbecue lunch while cheering on their team mates and peers.
Mr Shepherdson said clients from Challenge Community Services and other services came from a variety of places across the state including Macksville, Dubbo, Muswellbrook, Gunnedah and Tamworth.
He thanked all of the volunteers involved in the event.
"Without their effort and support this wouldn't have happened," he said.
