The service has been switched on and residents can now sign-up to a service provider.

New England MP Barnaby Joyce said it was good news for businesses, students and locals.
"Over the coming months, an additional 3,400 premises in Glen Innes and Werris Creek will be able to access the fixed line network, which will not only help people stay better connected to friends and family near and far, but also promote better business outcomes," he said.
"The electorate of New England is 96 per cent complete, with nearly 80,000 premises now able to access services over the NBN."
