Liverpool Plains Shire Council says the all-weather protection shelter will be used to warm the water at the start and the end of the swimming season.

Solar tubing will be fitted to the top of the structure and the project is expected to be complete by the end of February.
The council says it will help local representative swimmers to prepare for regional and state championships.
Council's engineering services director Warren Faulkner said it "fundamentally a carport that runs along the edge of the pool" and was sustainable.
The water from the filter room runs through the tubing so it is warmed, then flows into the pool and keeps cycling around.
The council also bought special blankets to cover the pool at night to retain the warmth.
"The Werris Creek swimming club has been asking for pool blankets and then our consultants Swimplex also suggested pool warming as a solar project," Mr Faulkner said.
He said the lines for the pool warming were installed last year when the council upgraded the filtration system.
The upgrade and the all-weather protection shelter have been funded under two rounds of the state government's Stronger Country Communities fund.
