Mason Louis was part of the Country team that was victorious over their metropolitan counterparts in the annual City v Country Challenge played in Sydney on Saturday.
It's the first time for a long while the Country side has been triumphant in the tournament, which featured the best under-10 and under-12 talent from across the state.
Narrabri native Lacey Bourke, who trains at Gunnedah, also represented Country.
Both won their two matches.
Pairing up with Springwood's Ashton McLeod, Louis won his boys doubles 9-0. He then teamed up with Singleton's Ella McLeod in the mixed doubles and was victorious 6-2.
Bourke meanwhile won her girls doubles with Bailee Kent-Duggan (Northumberland) 6-2 and mixed doubles with Thomas McCullough-Hendriks, also from Northumberland, 6-1.
Loius' father, and local coach, Craig Louis said Tennis NSW knew it was going to be a really hot day with the temperatures reaching a point where play would be stopped so they played the doubles and mixed doubles first so all of the players got time on the court before they had to call it off.
