New England Police District Commander, Superintendent Scott Tanner, said the allocation of the new officers to the district would greatly increase capability.
"It gives us a greater capacity to meet the needs of our communities," Superintendent Tanner said.
"These new probationary constables are a very good cross section of people from different backgrounds and different areas of the state.
"They're all very keen to join the New England Police District and do their bit for the community."
Of the nine recruits for New England Police District, four will be allocated to Moree, two to Armidale, two to Inverell and one to Glen Innes.
Meanwhile, Oxley's new recruits will be stationed in Tamworth and Narrabri.
"One of my main messages to the group is that we don't just want them to be a police officer, I want them to be involved in the community, which is important for rural towns," Superintendent Tanner said.
Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson welcomed the impending arrival of the new recruits into the region.
"This is fantastic news for our community, we welcomed five new recruits in July, four in August and these two graduates means, we've had 11 recruits in the past six months," he said.
"I am so proud of the efforts of our local police.
"They have put some major runs on the board this year with the cracking of a major drugs and guns syndicate.
"The two additional police officers that graduated today [Friday] will be sent to posts where they are most needed to ensure the safety and security of the local community.
"I am proud to welcome these men and women and wish them every success in their policing careers."
