About 3500 people checked out Gunnedah Chamber of Commerce's event, which event organiser Tracie Finlay said was "overwhelming" and "incredible".
Ms Finlay said she had received lots of phone calls and messages from people who went along, as well as business owners and stallholders, all praising her for a great event.

"I felt it was incredible and I guess everyone else thinks so if they are commenting to me," she said.
"Thanks to everyone in Gunnedah for turning up, I was very grateful that everybody came and enjoyed it and supported local business. It was lovely to see a lot of families there."
Popular activities included boot throwing, which was a new addition to the event on Conadilly Street, and the Gunnedah Pet Vet Parade, which saw beloved pets dressed up in cute outfits.
The Gunnedah Chamber of Commerce member said she had already been asked to hold the event next year, which she accepted.
"I picked up four stallholders [on Sunday], they handed over business cards and I put them in the diary so I guess it starts all over again," she said.
"I want to make it a bigger one, probably next year we might ask for some rain."
